When Aputure released the LS 600d Pro, they also made a promise to create a tool that was more accessible and would revolutionize the amount of output most creatives had access to. The Light Storm 600d is a perfect light for any demanding lighting situation you may encounter as a cinematographer or photographer.

RAISING THE STANDARD
Utilizing the same light source as its professional predecessor, its immensely powerful 600W COB LED positions the LS 600d as one of the brightest point source LEDs on the market. It outputs an incredible 8,500+ lux with the Hyper-Reflector or up to 29,300+ lux at 3 meters with the F10 Fresnel.

UNIVERSAL BOWENS MOUNT
As a member of the Light Storm family, the LS 600d also features an integrated Bowens Mount for easily attaching accessories and modifiers, ranging from the F10 Fresnel for intense brightness to the Light Dome 150 for spectacular softness.

SLIMMER CONTROL BOX
The LS 600d’s control box is significantly lighter than the LS 600d Pro’s controller. The LS 600d control box weighs in at 3.24kg (7.14lbs), which is almost half the weight of the LS 600d Pro’s 5.8kg (12.79lbs) control box. While shedding nearly half of its weight, the LS 600d controller still maintains many of the LS 600d Pro’s control methods and functions, like 2.4G Remote Compatibility, DMX512 In & Out, & Sidus Link.

SIDUS LINK APP
For photographers and video creators who require convenient access to intense output with the support of the Aputure and Sidus Link ecosystems, the LS 600d is an excellent tool. Integrating the LS 600d into onset workflows with Sidus Link and DMX512 control gives creators a powerful fixture that seamlessly integrates into their existing ecosystems with smooth dimming control and without color shift or the need to use scrims to decrease output.

CURVED YOKE
As it uses the same structure as the LS 600d Pro lamp head, the lamp head of the LS 600d maintains the curved yoke from its older brother. This curved yoke that is missing on comparable light fixtures grants the LS 600d increased tilt range when used with larger light modifiers, such as the F10 Fresnel, Light Dome 150, or Light OctaDome 120.

0-100% DIMMING
Like LS 300d II and 300x, the LS 600d can dim as low as 0% in 1% increments, providing filmmakers and photographers with immensely more control than traditional fixtures and strobes.

This 32-sided Light Dome 150 Softbox from Aputure measures 5' and is a great choice for portraits, head shots, interviews, fashion, and more. This is a really big light source with true wraparound quality that becomes more pronounced as you bring it closer to your subject. The softbox ships with 1.5- and 2.5-stop diffusers as well as a removable inner diffuser to thwart the hot spot.

There are numerous ways to personalize your light's output. For the softest light use the two front diffusers and the internal one. Want a little more snap? Take one of the front diffusers off. Still not crisp enough? Take both diffusers off. Use any combination of the diffusers until the light is right for you. The Light Dome's 31.5" depth allows for a sharp falloff that will give you the directional control necessary for selective lighting when used with the included fabric grid. Natural-looking catchlights will be reflected in your subject's eyes and the Bowens-type speed ring included will also fit lights from the many other manufacturers who use this popular mount.

The 10" F10 Barndoors for the LS 600d Fresnel Attachment from Aputure offer a means to control the 15 to 45° beam spread range of the Fresnel. Simply swing one or more leaves into the beam path to light areas you want and to keep light from areas you don't want illuminated. The 8-leaf design gives even greater control than 4-leaf versions and provides clean cuts of light.

THE FIRST EVER
The Aputure F10 Fresnel is the first industry-standard 10-inch Fresnel made for modular Bowens Mount fixtures. With its wide 250mm (9.84in.) glass Fresnel, the F10 both immensely intensifies the output of a point-source LED, but also results in a quality of light lighting technicians will find similar to a Tungsten 5K or Studio 2K.

INTENSELY BRIGHT
The F10 Fresnel functions at its best when paired with the Aputure LS 600d Pro, a 600W Daylight COB LED. Together, this combination eclipses Studio 2K Tungsten lights, and approaches the intensity of 5K Tungsten fixtures at flood. With a combined flood output of 11,440 lux and spot output of 29,300 lux at 3 meters, The 600d Pro and F10 Fresnel even compete on par with higher-powered HMIs.

DUAL-OPTIC DESIGN
The F10 Fresnel matches the unique design of the Fresnel 2X, utilizing a two-stage optical system to maximize light output. Utilizing a rear aspherical focusing element, the F10 Fresnel optimizes the output of an LS 600d Pro to fill the front Fresnel Element, resulting in up to 340% additional output in Flood mode.

ERGONOMIC FOCUSING
To ergonomically and precisely adjust its variable 15°-45° beam angle, the F10 Fresnel uses Aputure’s helicoid focus design introduced in the Fresnel 2X. This seamless design requires no extra knobs or handles. Simply twist the lens ring, and adjust the spot/flood controls.

MINIMIZED LIGHT LEAKS
Building on our experience from the Fresnel 2X, the F10 Fresnel uses an offset ventilation design in its heat-resistant body that allows for airflow while minimizing light leaks.

IMPECCABLE BUILD
Despite its impressive 250mm (9.84in.) Fresnel diameter, the F10 Fresnel maintains a compact heat-resistant construction. The shell of the F10 can withstand the heat of the LS 600d Pro, and due to its collapsible, and aspherical focusing lens, it can stow away to a depth of 6.8 inches (172.5mm).

DROP-IN ACCESSORY SLOT
Another of many "firsts", the F10 Fresnel is also the first Bowens Mount Fresnel to feature an industry-standard drop-in accessory slot. This heavy-duty accessory slot allows users to mount the F10 Barn Doors on the Fresnel for proper light shaping, and can even fit a 13-inch (330mm) scrim.
